Our Story
Delmarva's Trusted Appraisers was built on a simple idea: the Delmarva Peninsula deserves a real estate appraiser who actually knows the market — one who understands the difference between an oceanfront condo in Fenwick Island and a single-family home in Snow Hill, and who brings the credentials and local expertise to back up every report.
Justin Drost grew up connected to this market. He understands the seasonal rhythms of Ocean City, the growing residential communities spreading through Sussex County, and the unique valuation challenges that come with shore properties — canal-front homes, vacation rentals, oceanfront high-rises, and the inland communities that support them.
Ed Drost brings over 35 years of certified appraisal experience from Baltimore and the broader Mid-Atlantic region. As founder of Residential Appraisal Solutions, LLC — Baltimore's Trusted Appraiser — Ed has built a career on delivering court-defensible, USPAP-compliant appraisals for estates, divorce proceedings, litigation, and complex assignments. That same standard of excellence carries through to every Delmarva appraisal.

With dual-state licensure in both Maryland and Delaware, Justin provides seamless residential appraisal coverage across the full Delmarva Peninsula — from the barrier islands of Fenwick and Ocean City to the inland communities of Selbyville, Millsboro, Laurel, and Georgetown.
Justin specializes in the property types that define the Delmarva shore market: oceanfront and bayfront condominiums, canal-front single-family homes, vacation rental properties, new construction in master-planned communities, and the diverse mix of year-round residential properties found throughout Worcester and Sussex counties.

As the founder of Residential Appraisal Solutions, LLC — Baltimore's Trusted Appraiser — Ed has earned a reputation for delivering accurate, court-defensible appraisals across a wide range of property types and assignment conditions.
Ed's Maryland Certified credential allows him to handle complex assignments, litigation support, estate matters requiring certified-level documentation, and high-value properties that require an elevated standard of appraisal expertise.
